Creativity: Photographing and editing #1 (1h)

Today I went to the park to photograph my old classmate. I've taken portray photographs before as well, but not much. I want to improve my photographing and editing skills. At the moment I'm editing all photos on iPhoto, which is really easy program. So I want to get some better and more complicated program, to develop my editing skills. Camera what I'm using is Nikon D80, this time I used AUTO program to take pictures, but I want to start using manual program more.
