Service: Writing about DNA translation for Silmaring (5hrs)

I wrote about DNA translation for Silmaring - an Estonian study web, where students and teachers helped to create easy study material (videos, articles). I had an opportunity to write there about DNA translation and it was helpful for me as well, because I had a test coming on it. This article was controlled by our instructor (she was also my teacher and will be my teacher next year). It took quite a lot of time, because in IB we are studying in English and the material I used was in English. Article had to be in Estonian, so I had to do a lot of translating.
I learned, that when I write an easy article, what has to be understandable for many students, helped me so much in understanding that topic. I got it really clear and it was good method for studying. Also I can help with that others as well. After writing my first rough draft, I had to make some changes as well but they were quite small.
First we wrote article for 3 hours on our own. Then there was gathering for 1 hour and we read our articles for others and made changes. Then we went home and changed our articles, which took about 1 hour.

Activity: Agility (6hrs)

27.09.2014: Jacky did really-really well this time, that I was amazed. While we me moved into inside for trainings, the lesson is with another group - there's 6-7 dogs as well. Trainings are really loud, because all the dogs are barking. Jacky was not really caring about them and he obeyed very well. We didn't try any new obstacles, but trained the old ones. We advanced a bit seesaw, so now at the end we let it go a bit lower. Only bad thing is that Jacky doesn't care about the toy in the lesson, so he's slightly slow. Otherwise I liked this lesson a lot.

03.11.2014: This time training wasn't great at all. My mother insisted to come and see the training, but this was disturbing Jacky also she feed him in the morning, what you shouldn't do (you don't feed the dog only on the mornings of the training day). Jacky was disturbed, he didn't wan't to do anything, he sniffed around and didn't pay any attention. Also we tried new thing - tire jump, for the first time.

10.11.2014: Today the training went amazingly well. Jacky was really motivated and really wanted to train. We did less tricks, but more fast running, while only jumping over winged single jumps and running through tunnels. This path Jacky pervades the best and he loves it. We tried again seesaw and tire jump - both came out really well. I was really proud of him.

17.11.2014: I had contused my heel and my ankle, so it was quite painful to do this training. Jacky however did really good. I can send him to single jumps to do there turns and eights, more further. He doesn't like tire jump and every time possible, he tries to skip it. There's still much to improve, but I'm proud of him :)

24.11.2014: Since I had hurt my heel, I had to skip one lesson.

01.12.2014: We tried new thing called dogwalk and it's easy, Jacky has no problem going there. Today we ran longer paths and Jacky loves it. On the path, there were only winged single jumps and tunnels. He did it very well and I can give him commands a bit further away than before. He also started barking - which is good in agility, that means that he's excited to do it and he's faster. And he started to play today with his toy and one time we ran the path only with the toy (without treats). Today was the most successful training so far.

08.12.2014: Today the lesson wasn't that interesting. We did the same things, we've always done - dogwalk, jumping over single jumps and tunnels. The paths we did, were quite short and Jacky wasn't that energetic at todays lesson. Trainer told me, that I shouldn't be that careful and be more fast, then Jacky is as well. Jacky has been barking more and more and he's more interested in other dogs training, than his own.
